Scary experiences

...like a headache that was SO bad it blinded me, I lost control of my legs, my father had to carry me to the car to get me to hospital. Now, I've suffered from migraine all my life, before anyone pops up and says, it was just a migraine, or just a headache, and I have never felt pain like that in my life, EVER! Anyways, after only 20 mins in A&E, the staff nurse took my blood pressure, I would tell you what it was, but my vision looked something like this:

except with more colours, and in jaggy lines across my eyesight. He asked me some questions, how long it had been going on for, if I felt nauseaus, if I had suffered from them before etc, at which point, I kinda blacked out for a second. Next thing I know, I'm being led to a small, darkened area of the A&E room, and asked to drop my pants, one shot of "intramuscular" votarol, 20 mins later and I was in happy land.

Anyways, on a good note, I have had my cholesterol checked, which I was meant to be doing quite a while ago, 2 years ago in fact, when it was first discovered my dad has a hereditary heart condition, but I have put it off and off and off, but hey, its done now, and it read 167. After a little bit of research, this basically means Im doing very well.

http://www.americanheart.org says the following about cholesterol levels

Desirable — Less than 200 mg/dL
Borderline high risk — 200-239 mg/dL
High risk — 240 mg/dL and over

So hopefully I wont be getting a clogged artery, which looks something like this:

YUM!

Right, enough of the medical postings, I'm off to do some work.
Bye for now
